Hello! I’m Jarrod Frankum—an investor, licensed Realtor, and the founder of Electrum.
I discovered my passion for real estate right here in Lubbock back in 2019, and ever since, I’ve been helping homeowners sell their houses quickly and with as little stress as possible.
As a proud Texas Tech graduate, my time in Lubbock deepened my connection to this community and strengthened my desire to help local families when they need it most.
For over five years, I’ve worked with hundreds of sellers across Texas, many of whom were going through difficult situations—whether it was foreclosure, job relocation, costly repairs, or inherited property.
Having lived in Texas my entire life, I know these neighborhoods inside and out. That local expertise allows me to make the selling process smooth, fast, and fair for homeowners.

Hi! I’m Laura Frankum—co-founder of Electrum, a Registered Nurse (RN), and the person behind the scenes!
My background in nursing taught me how to care for people during stressful times, listen with empathy, and provide real support—and that’s exactly the approach I bring to our business every day.
I focus on our marketing and SEO so that when homeowners in Lubbock search for answers, they’ll find us—real people who care. I’m also the one behind our social media accounts, answering questions, sharing helpful information, and making sure anyone who reaches out feels heard and understood.
Being a nurse has given me a unique perspective when working with homeowners who are going through tough, emotional situations. I know how important it is to feel supported and to have someone you can trust during a difficult time.

The History Of Our Company
Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved those home and garden shows, and I remember thinking that everything about them was so awesome. I really wanted to do something related to that in the future. But time passed, and because I had an interest in mechanics, I ended up pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. In the last year of college, I had an internship in that field, so I was working as an engineer in an office and wanted to listen to something while I worked. That’s when I discovered a podcast about real estate. Since I still had an interest in the area, I decided to give it a chance. Listening to it made my heart light up, and I knew that real estate was for me. That was back in 2015.
I graduated, and three years later, I had an opportunity to start my own business. I didn’t have the money or the perfect conditions, but I decided to take the leap. I grabbed a little notebook and got started. Since then, I’ve given it my all—calling people, reading, and improving every day. Learning about real estate became a true passion, and actually making it happen filled my heart with joy. That’s when I realized that this was my future and decided to found this company. Every day I work feels like a blessing, and I’m so grateful for every experience I’ve had so far.
